What are your office hours?

A. Monday through Friday (except holidays) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Applications NOT provided after 4:30 p.m.

What is your criteria to rent?

Do I need to complete a pre-application for every property that I am interested in?

A. No. If you are interested in several properties listed on one application, you only need to complete that one application and mark all the properties that you are interested in.  If you are interested in a property that is not listed on your application, then you must complete the application that is for that property.

When will I know if I am pre-approved or not?

A. You will receive a letter, email, or phone call depending on the property(ies) you applied for informing you of this information.

Is this low income housing?

A. Only some of our locations are subsidized low income; others are not. Visit each property’s page on this website for its specific information.

Do I have to pay anything when I’m ready to submit the pre-application?

A. No. However, a fee may be requested from you when it is time to complete the full application depending on the property you are being processed for.

What is your application process?

A. The application process varies depending on which property you are being processed for and may or may not include the following (this is after you have been pre-approved & are close to the top of the wait list):

  1. you will complete a full application
  2. a credit/criminal background check will be processed (a fee may be required)
  3. a home visit will be scheduled
  4. a landlord verification will be conducted
  5. an income & asset verification will be conducted

How many wait lists can I be on?

A. You can be on as many lists as you qualify for.

Do you have any other properties to offer other than what’s listed on the preapplication?

A. Yes. You can go to the Available Units tab on this website to see other properties that are available.  These listed properties have their own separate application.  The list changes periodically without notice, so you will want to check it on a regular basis until you see something that you are interested in.

What is the status of my application?

A. Due to the volume of applications that we process, we no longer give the statuses of housing applications and ask that you refrain from requesting it.  We will contact you by phone, mail, and/or email when processing your application.
